About

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes" - Romans 1:16 (NIV)

In the early church, the symbols like the Ichtys (fish), the Anchor and the Chi-Rho were more than just decorations. They were secret confessions of faith, symbols of hope under persecution, and they identified communities built on the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

With Trebizi's clothing and accessories, we hope to express, proclaim, and to start conversations about the Christian faith, drawing inspiration from the symbols that connect us to our roots, symbols that connect us to our Christian brothers and sisters all the way back to the early church, who put their faith in the undying truth of the Gospel.

The banner on the front page shows an etching by Jan Luyken from around 1701 depicting Saint Telemachus attempting to stop a gladiator fight in 404 AD. For this act, the crowd stoned him to death, and it is suggested that due to this, the emperor Honorius to put an end to gladiatorial games.
